Water Creatures Doing a Cosmic Dance

The Ocean calls

salted hearts worn by yogin eyes throwing rocks

left, right, and at the corner of the night.

The Ocean calls

with a mermaid squeal the sailor

that left her ship docked to the dark.

The Ocean calls

the little boy that built a castle

but stole the sand to wear it in his heart.

The Ocean calls

tearing the sky apart to fill the hole

left by divers that swam too close to the light.

The Ocean calls

to come claim your prize (the map to your secret life)

and swallows you whole if you come too fast.

The Ocean calls:

come slowly, It can’t tell us apart.
